125 Stories and Counting

In celebration of our library's 125th anniversary that started October 2009, we established a goal to collect at least 125 stories of how our library helps folks just like you.

We have a 125 year young story of helping Grand Island learn and grow.  In celebration of our library's 125th anniversary that started October 2009, we established a goal to collect at least 125 stories of how our library helps folks just like you. We met that goal and as you click on the button below you will see a sampling of  these stories.  Some are "signed", some not at each contributor's request. 

We had enough time to get this first selection to "print" in time for National Library Week 2010.  

Our hope is that by sharing these stories we can all encourage each other to read and make use of the library's many resources.

Even though we have reached our goal, if you would like to submit your own story, please stop by the library!
