productions from Latin America and Spain, as well as dubbed or subtitled titles.

The Shelf offers a wide variety of audiovisual content. Our team of experts constantly
expands and curates our collections. The content is divided into the following services,
depending on the library:
● Collection for adults.
○ Movies: films, documentaries, and short films from all eras and genres.
○ Series: series, miniseries, and the most acclaimed soap operas of all time
in Spanish.
○ Performing Arts: Theater, opera, musicals, monologues, dance,
classical music...
● Collection for children.
○ Kid’s content: animation series and video games with a high educational
component to entertain and educate.
How it works
Once registered, patrons can make as many loans as they wish from the available
collections. Each audiovisual loan has a duration of 48 hours for statistical and usage
purposes. It is not possible to extend the period, but you can repeat the same loan as
many times as you want.
HOW TO SIGN UP!
To access for the first time, it is necessary to CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT following these steps:
1. Select your country and library.
2. Enter your library card number.
3. Choose an email address and create a personal password to register a new
account on The Shelf. This will enable you to log in later. Please note that the
email address is necessary for password recovery in case of forgetfulness.
4. Accept the terms of service.
Once you have created the account, you only need to remember your username and
password to log in anytime you want to access the platform.
