Grand Island, Neb. — Over the next few months, people of all ages can participate in a winter reading program titled “Cozy Up With Reading.”
This will be a shortened version of the GIPL summer reading program, and there will be three age categories:
Children (Age 0-11)
Teens (Age 12-18)
Adults (Age 18+)
From December 20, 2024 through January 31, 2025, people can track their reading through Beanstack on the library’s website or app. There are also activity challenges they can complete such as baking something or playing a game that can also earn more tickets into the grand prize drawings.
The Grand Island Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property anywhere within Hall County may apply for a library card at no cost. Keep up to date with all library happenings and hours online at https://www.gilibrary.org, Facebook and Instagram.
