Chair Yoga

Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Library wants you to not only visit, but take a seat!

The library is hosting a free chair yoga class with instructor Tracy Noble. Everyone knows the benefits of stretching and improving flexibility, but traditional yoga can be difficult for seniors, those with limited mobility or anyone who doesn’t regularly exercise.

Using modified yoga stretches while seated or using the chair for stability is a great way to benefit from yoga without risking injury. Chair Yoga will take place on Friday, January 24 at 1 p.m. in Meeting Room BC of the Grand Island Public Library.

The Grand Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property anywhere within Hall County may apply for a library card at no cost.
